Aside from the new paint job, things have been tuned under the hood as well. The Communion stage has now been renamed <em><strong>Meta Ta Physika<\/strong><\/em> to honor our annual party in Detroit. We are happy to welcome back the mighty <em><strong>Void Acoustics<\/strong><\/em> by <em><strong>Champion Sound<\/strong><\/em>, as well as lighting by <em><strong>Orbital Operations<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another major change, The Chillout (-adjacent) stage has been renamed <em><strong>Over Yonder<\/strong><\/em>, with TGB team on musical curation this time around! <em><strong>Bound Space<\/strong><\/em> is a local A\/V collective has been part of our festival each year. Their recognition is long overdue, and this year we intend to give it to them. Once again, they\u2019ll manage their own unusual space of wonders, as well as assist with production on <em>Over Yonder, <\/em>while <em><strong>The<\/strong> <strong>People\u2019s Sound <\/strong><\/em>handle audio duties, with their hybrid system of <em><strong>Electro Voice<\/strong>, <\/em>and<em> <strong>JBL<\/strong>. <\/em>Additional lighting by<em><strong>Static<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We stand by all of our bookings, but here are some musical highlights to consider on our main stage:<\/strong><br><br>On Friday night, expect face-melting sets from the likes of <em><strong>Mary Yuzovskaya<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>Takaaki Itoh<\/strong><\/em>. We also welcome <em><strong>Sandwell District <\/strong><\/em>(<em>Function &amp; Regis<\/em>) for an extended set to celebrate their new album \u201c<em>END BEGINNINGS<\/em>.\u201d Midwest legend <em><strong>Justin Aulis Long<\/strong><\/em> is on sunrise duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Saturday evening, we kick things off with Minneapolis boy band <em><strong>Marijuana Deathsquads<\/strong><\/em>. The live sets roll on through the night from local hero <em><strong>Lonefront<\/strong><\/em> and\u2026Luke Slater aka <em><strong>Planetary Assault Systems<\/strong><\/em>. Luke couldn\u2019t make it in 2022 due to visa issues, but now he\u2019s finally able to make it up to us with a rare North American live appearance. <em><strong>Wata Igarashi<\/strong><\/em>and<em><strong>Rrose<\/strong><\/em> are teaming up for their first ever, <em>exclusive<\/em>\u2026hybrid live\/DJ performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sunday morning\u2026<em>for those still standing<\/em>, <em><strong>Eris Drew<\/strong><\/em>. There\u2019s a few people we\u2019ve been after since year one, and Eris was one of them. She\u2019s finally here, and she\u2019s playing an extended set at sunrise. As always, expect pancakes once someone is sober enough to make them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Closing out the main stage on Sunday night is often considered by many as <em>the time slot<\/em> of the festival. It\u2019s all about storytelling, which is sadly becoming a dying art in the DJ world, making this a very difficult slot to fill. We ultimately decided to go with someone as passionate about the music as we are. So\u2026we\u2019ve chosen a rising talent from France named <em><strong>Quelza<\/strong><\/em> for closing duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lastly, <strong>Rrose<\/strong> will close down <em>Over Yonder <\/em>this year. Expect a ritualistic sound bath of ambient moods, dissonant tones, and more.
